Missionary Mom and Hiker: Kathy: I am a mom with two children on missions,and five other children around the country. Gretchen is serving a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from September 2011 to March 2013 in Riverside, California. Peder is serving a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from December 14 2011 to December 14 2013 in Cape Verde (off the coast of Africa). I love to explore my hometown and discover more of its beauty and wonders. I also love to write to share what I find. I have been hiking on Mondays with my friend, Al Stoops, and whomever we can convince to join us since December 2010. This blog is my attempt to chronicle our adventures.
